Gabriela is a published Product Designer/Instructor who lives and works in Toronto, Canada.
As a Product Designer she enjoys being involved in a variety of creative projects.
Today she dedicates her creative skills to the design of products and tutorials for leading arts and crafts manufacturers. She also writes articles, designs creative projects, tutorials and photography for national and international publications in print and online {books & magazines}.
Gabriela really enjoys experimenting with different techniques and materials such as paper, dried botanical parts, pressed flowers, glitter, fabric paint, fabrics and recycled/re-purposed pieces.
Gabriela earned a Graphic Design diploma which also introduced her to History of Art, Colour Theory and Drafting.
Working as an Instructor her mission is to promote creativity among people and let them unleash their imagination. She wants them to energize “their creative juices”, get inspired and make something with her. Teaching allows her to share her creativity in a variety of multimedia classes and workshops.
Most of her classes are in Toronto area but she also loves travel teaching. You will also find Gabriela teaching creative courses to seniors at community centers and retirement residences.
Gabriela loves using her graphic design skills on her website/blog. She loves taking photos of her work for her photo galleries, she loves designing banners…experimenting with digital scrapbooking and layouts.
She also enjoys Gift Wrapping and loves embellishing packages. Gabriela teaches Gift Wrapping Workshops in the Toronto area each year during the Holiday Season to private groups, the public and retailers.
Gabriela writes a blog where she shares free craft tutorials, talks about the projects she is working on at her studio, articles, her blog events and workshops.
