Antique Milk Bottle

Recall an earlier time when the milkman brought fresh milk to your door at dawn in thick-walled bottles. Now you can recreate this piece reminiscent of times gone by with the Duncan® Oh Four® Milk Bottle and Concepts® Underglazes and French Dimensions™.

Instructions

1. Wipe ware with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.

2. Thin Ivory with water in clean plastic container and roll inside bottle to coat. Pour out excess.

3. Use pencil to sketch the word “Fresh” onto bottle.

4. Apply French Dimensions Pure White to sketched word and let dry thoroughly.

5. Use Fan Glaze to apply three solid coats of Ivory to exterior of bottle.

6. Stilt and fire to cone 06.
