Bliss Book

Ring in the New Year with a sparkly set of goals! Create this Bliss Book as a way to keep track of your hopes and accomplishments – all you need is a little imagination and some creative magic from Crafty Chica™ craft products.

Instructions

1. Squeeze puddles of desired colors of Little Chica paints on a piece of foil. Paint the canvas on both sides. When dry, fold in half and choose which side you would like to be the front of book.
2. Squeeze a puddle of Aleene's® Quick Dry Tacky Glue™ onto a clean piece of foil, then working in sections, use a paintbrush to apply a thin, even coat of glue onto front and immediately pour glitter over it. Press with finger then tap away excess. Refer to photo. Let dry then coat with Spray Acrylic Sealer.
3. Glue Butterfly Iron-On Appliqué onto center front as shown. Let dry.
4. Use different sized paintbrushes to create accents around Butterfly as desired.
5. Paint the watercolor sheets in desired colors and designs. Let dry then coat with Crafty Chica™ Glossy Gloss Varnish™. Let dry.
6. When everything is dry, fold the watercolor sheets in half to fit in book and insert inside the glittered cover. Punch two holes in the spine area and use yarn, ribbon and sequin trim to secure papers and cover.
7. Add embellishments to all pages – glue them down or use a sewing machine. Accent with paints and more glitter then use the markers to write your goals for the New Year.
