Empowerment Shrine

This kit is all about focusing on the things that you want to do. The obstacles you crave to conquer. It can be love, family, a new job, traveling, losing weight, getting healthy- anything! Visualization is the key! Everything you need is in this Workshop in a Box, but feel free to personalize it with your own photos, stickers and small mementos.

Instructions

1. Using the paper included in the kit or other favorite papers, cut out shapes to fit onto the side and top panels framing the face of the box, as well as the other sections of the box that you would like to cover with paper.

Tip: Use the box to trace rounded shapes onto the back of paper before cutting out. Use the back of the box to trace square for inside back of box.

2. One section at a time, coat the rounded shapes framing the face of the box with the white craft glue that is included in the kit. Lay one of the paper cutouts over it and smooth out any wrinkles with your fingers. Repeat steps for the rest of the box, inside and out.
3. Take your inspiration picture and glue it in the center of the box and the caption at the bottom of the picture.
4. Cut out heart from Mojito papers and glue on top panel.
5. Coat the areas of the box with the white craft glue where you would like the glitter to be. You can frame the box with glitter, the feet of the box, etc. - we choose the inside of the box and the edges of the panels.  Working over a sheet of paper to catch the excess glitter, pour the glitter over the wet glue. Tap off excess. 
6. Cut out small hearts from Mojito papers and glue to the inside of bottle caps and glue the bottle caps along the top of the frame on the shrine. Glue the roses and leaves at the top sides of the shrine.
7. Glue the sequin trim along the square sides of the box that frame your photo.

Miscellaneous Notes

Print out favorite quotes or phrases to use in your shrine.
Incoporate items from the event in your shrine.
Glue pictures inside of the included bottle caps and add to shrine.
Save extra supplies for other projects.
Hand write a journal entry about your goal to keep the experience fresh.
