Instructions
- Cover work area with Surface Cover.
- Sprinkle water on watercolor paper then smooth with hand. Let set for a few minutes to absorb water.
- Squeeze a small puddle of Sunshine Yellow Soft Fabric Paint onto foil. Thin paint to a very watery consistency by using small paintbrush to mix water into paint. To spatter paper, fill brush with thinned down paint and flick brush over paper. Load brush with paint then let color drop onto sheet – it should bleed out on damp paper.
- Repeat above step with Crimson Red. Spatter and drop paint, letting colors blend where they meet.
- Repeat step with Lime, Royal Blue and Petal Pink, spattering on paint to desired look. Let paper thoroughly dry.
- Turn over decorated watercolor paper. Use pencil to trace ends and dividers of file holder onto back of painted paper. Use ruler to measure dimensions of side pieces and sections between each divider. Use the dimensions to create rectangular shapes to cover these sections on back of painted paper. Cut out all pieces.
- Squeeze a puddle of Liquid Fusion® onto clean foil. Working on one section of holder at a time, use dry foam brush to apply an even coating of glue onto one side of metal section. Position watercolor paper section into place, pressing to secure. Add clothespins around sides to hold in place until dry. Glue all paper sections in place, holding with clothespins. Let dry and remove clothespins.
- Working in sections at a time, run a thin bead of Liquid Fusion® along outer edges of holder and press sequin trim into glue, trimming ends as needed. Add sequin trim where shown and let dry.
- On the front end of file holder, add dots of Liquid Fusion® and press an acrylic gem into each dot of glue. Let dry.
