Glistening Glitter Ornaments

Transform inexpensive glass ornaments into works of art with Tulip® Fashion Glitter™ and Tulip® Glitter Bond™. Available in so many beautiful colors and finishes – you’ll make ornaments fit for a museum!

Instructions

1. For stripes, apply tape to mask off areas on ornament as desired.
2. Open paper clip to form temporary hanger. Attach to ornament.
3. Place scratch paper onto work surface.
4. Squeeze a puddle of Glitter Bond onto foil. Tap flat end of sponge into glue. Pounce an even layer of glue onto ornament. Immediately pour desired color of Glitter onto glue, allowing excess glitter to fall onto paper. Hang to dry.
5. Remove tape. Repeat procedure to apply glitter to remaining areas as desired using a paintbrush for small areas.
6. For dots, paint circles over dry glitter base, using paintbrush. Pour on desired color of glitter. Let dry. Lightly brush away excess glitter, using clean, dry paintbrush.
7. For dimensional areas, start flow of 3D Paint on paper towel using an even pressure on bottle for a smooth line. Paint desired design onto ornament. Pour glitter onto wet paint. Let dry. Brush away excess glitter.
8. Cut a 14” length from wire for hanger, using wire cutter. Thread wire through ornament hanger. Twist ends just above hanger to secure. Loop wire to form bow. Wrap ends around bow a few times to secure. Curl ends around pencil. Arrange ends as desired.
