Instructions

  1. Wipe plate with dampened sponge to remove bisque dust.
  2. Pour all each of both E-Z Stroke™ colors into individual spray bottles. Fill each empty E-Z Stroke™ bottle with water, replace caps and shake to dissolve remaining glaze in bottle. Pour water into spray bottles with colors, then replace nozzle and shake bottle to dilute. Test spray each bottle onto a paper towel to ensure a nice, even spray. Add more water to each if necessary.
  3. Cover workspace with paper towels and place the plate on top of paper towels.
  4. Arrange chain on top of plate as desired, laying as flat as possible. Position screws, washers and nails on plate as desired.
  5. Begin with a light spray of Neon Blue over items on plate. Let dry. If color builds up on tools, gently blot with tissue.
  6. Repeat spraying Neon Blue in certain areas of plate to create darker, more concentrated sections. Blot excess color on tools and let dry.
  7. Spray a light mist of Cobalt Jet Black around tools and random areas on plate to create more defined silhouettes. Let dry.
  8. Remove tools on plate.
  9. One at a time, dip brush handle into each color and flick across plate to create a splattered effect. Let dry.
  10. Remove chain.
  11. Dip plate into a bucket of Pure Brilliance™ Clear Dipping Glaze. Let dry and fire to Cone 06. Or, if desired, lightly sponge Pure Brilliance™ over face of plate, let dry and repeat. Sponge two coats onto back of plate, letting dry between coats.
  12. *Note: If brushing on Pure Brilliance™, fire the plate prior to applying glaze to prevent smearing. Then brush on two coats of glaze, drying between each coat. Fire to Cone 06.
