Instructions

Prep
1. Prewash towel to remove sizing; do not dry.

2. Cover work area with a plastic tablecloth.

Bullseye
1. Lay damp towel flat on work surface. Pinch center of towel and pull upward about 4” then wrap a rubber band tightly around towel (or secure with zip tie if preferred). Move down another 6” or so and bind again. Repeat once more, about 10” below the second rubber band (zip tie).

2. Follow instructions from kit to prepare Yellow, Green, Orange and Black dyes.

3. Apply Orange to top banded section (the center point), rotating towel as needed to completely saturate point with dye.

4. Apply Yellow to the next banded section, Green to the third and Black on the remaining section.

5. Cover towel with plastic tablecloth and allow dye to set for 6 to 8 hours or longer for most intense color. Rinse thoroughly in warm running water until runoff is clear, then wash separately in a large load of water with a small amount of laundry soap. Remove rubber bands and dry separately. Tip: Leaving rubber bands intact while washing towel helps ensure whiter lines in between colors.

Lime bordered
1. Lay damp towel flat on top of clean prepared work surface.

2. Follow instructions from kit to prepare Lime dye. Squeeze dye on each end of towel, working color from the ends to about 7” toward center.

3. Cover towel with plastic tablecloth and allow dye to set for 6 to 8 hours or longer for most intense color. Rinse thoroughly in warm running water until runoff is clear, then wash separately in a large load of water with a small amount of laundry soap. Dry separately.

Ombré effects
1. Lay damp towel flat on clean prepared work surface.

2. Follow instructions from kit to prepare Violet, Purple and Fuchsia dyes.

3. Squeeze Violet dye along the bottom edge of towel, working the color up about 7” from edge. Next add Purple dye beginning where Violet dye ends and working color up about another 7”. Add about 3” of Fuchsia dye to towel, beginning where the Purple dye ends.

4. Add water to remaining Purple dye to dilute and squeeze onto remainder of towel.

5. Cover towel with plastic tablecloth and allow dye to set for 6 to 8 hours or longer for most intense color. Rinse thoroughly in warm running water until runoff is clear, then wash separately in a large load of water with a small amount of laundry soap. Dry separately.

Graffiti effects
1. Wash and dry towel to remove sizing. Prepare work surface with a plastic tablecloth.

2. Lay dry towel on prepared work surface.

3. Follow instructions from kit to prepare Turquoise, Blue and Fuchsia dyes.

4. Squeeze dyes randomly over towel in an abstract fashion. Note: Keeping the towel dry will prevent the dye from running and spreading, allowing your designs to remain crisp and more defined.

5. Cover towel with plastic tablecloth and let set 6 to 8 hours or longer for most intense color. Rinse thoroughly in warm running water until runoff is clear, then wash separately in a large load of water with a small amount of laundry soap. Dry separately.

NOTE: If more dye color is needed for projects, use the dye packets included in the kit. Pour color of choice into the empty bottle and fill with water; shake until dye powder is dissolved.
