Playful in Petals

Create a tee that shows your penchant for pretty petals and playful necklaces! Add personality to a simple white shirt with Tulip® 3D Fashion Paint™ and Scribbles® Permanent Fabric Markers™.

Instructions

1. Wash and dry shirt to remove sizing – do not use a dryer sheet. Iron smooth.
2. Insert Fashion Form into shirt to prevent paint seepage to back of shirt.
3. Enlarge pattern to desired size to fit around neckline of tee. Tape two pieces of tracing paper together to form a larger sheet. Place over pattern then use pencil to trace onto paper.
4. Flip over design, then use chalk to lightly trace over lines. Position pattern chalk side down where shown then hold in place with hand. Run a finger over lines to transfer pattern to fabric. Remove pattern.
5. Use bullet tip of Black Scribbles Marker to outline petals of each flower. Use Red Scribbles marker to fill in petals, starting at inner edge then feathering to rim of each petal. Let dry then repeat step for more intense color. Let dry.
6. Start flow of 3D Fashion Paint on paper towel using an even pressure on bottle for a smooth line. Create different chains as shown along chalk lines. Keep tip of paint bottle wiped with paper towel for clean lines. Let dry.
7. Use Fashion Art Tweezers to place Iron-On Crystals along design lines.
8. Turn on Cordless Heat-Setting Tool following package instructions. When hot, place tip of tool on top of crystal and count to 10. Remove tool and let crystal cool. Touch crystal with fingernail, making sure it has adhered, if not add a few more seconds of heat. Add crystals to each design.
9. Adhere a few red crystals to centers of each rose.
10. Follow paint label for care of shirt.
