The Coolest Book Cover Ever!

Tulip® Fabric Spray Paint™ adds quick color to just about anything in an easy to spray bottle! Add fun pizazz with Tulip® Fashion Art embellishments that zap on in seconds!

Instructions

1. Cover work surface with plastic bag.
2. Cut fabric 2” larger on all four sides than open book cover. Place fabric flat on plastic.
3. On cardstock, freehand or use a template to draw two or three different sized hearts. Heart shapes can be found on the computer also. Cut out. If book is small adjust heart sizes to fit. Place a loop of tape on back of hearts and place on fabric. Refer to photo.
4. Starting at bottom, spray Neon Pink across and up halfway, making dark at bottom and lighter in center of fabric.
5. Spray Sunshine heavily starting at top, overlap Neon Pink in center to create a third color.
6. With tissue, carefully blot off excess paint from paper hearts. Do not touch fabric. Remove hearts. Let dry.
7. Center book on painted fabric. Fold each end back painted sides together and stitch on top 2” down from raw edge and repeat on bottom to hold in place. This will create a pocket for book cover to slide into. Turn right side out. Place on book to make sure it fits. If needed, adjust.
8. Use Fabric Fusion sparingly to hold top and bottom edges down.
9. Cut ribbon to go across bottom and on left side of front area. Glue in place using glue sparingly. Let dry.
10. Place Fashion Designs in place. Adhere following package instructions, using a pressing cloth or paper towel. Refer to photo.
11. Scatter loose Crystals on front and some on ribbon. Use Heat-Setting Tool to adhere. Pressure is not necessary; just touch tip to Crystal.
