Instructions
- Determine position of blocks leaving an opening for clock works to fit.
- Use paper trimmer to cut 1-1/2” squares from colored cardstock. Lay papers on blocks as desired. Optional: Take a digital picture at this point so you will have reference if blocks get scrambled.
- Lay a sheet of paper towel on work surface. Open jar of Collage Pauge. Wet brush and dry off with paper towel. Lay a block on paper towel then brush on a thin even coating of Collage Pauge. Quickly brush Collage Pauge on back of colored paper then immediately press paper onto block. Brush a thin coat over top to seal. Replace block back in position. Repeat step to cover all blocks. Let dry.
- Determine top of clock. Carefully flip over a block and nail on saw tooth hanger.
- Drill a hole in center of wood round, making sure shaft of clock fits. Trace wood circle on cardstock then cut a scant 1/8” inside edge. Position on round then trim as needed so a wood border shows around edge. Decoupage in place. Let dry.
- Apply a thin bead of Wood Glue along both edges where block meet. Press together then carefully wipe off any excess that shows. Continue with all blocks. Let glue thoroughly dry.
- Start flow of Slick White on paper towel using an even pressure on bottle for a smooth line. Carefully fill in just top of each number and clock hands. Let dry.
- Push pencil from front through hole in center of wood round making a hole in paper. Assemble clock following clock instructions. Apply glue to back of wood round then position and press in place. Let dry.
- Carefully peel numbers from paper backing, trim edges if needed then press in place on blocks where desired.
