Aleene's Cornstarch Dough
Mix together

Measure and pour 2 parts cornstarch to 1 part Original Tacky Glue into plastic bag. Mix until ingredients come together.

Add more cornstarch if the mixture is too sticky and add more glue if the mixture is too stiff.

Knead dough

Knead in plastic bag with fingers until smooth and pliable, about 10 minutes.

Add color

Pinch off a walnut size piece of dough. Form into a ball and make a small indentation. Add a small amount of color in indentation.

Mix color thoroughly

Mix and knead in hands (or plastic bag) until desired shade is achieved.  Add more paint for desired color.

Pinch off piece and create shape

Pinch off an egg size piece of dough. Roll between palms to form into desired shape. Place on work surface to dry. Continue with remainder of shapes.

Drying time will depend on thickness and weather. Place in a dry place. Let set a few days until firm when pressed with finger.

Paint shape

Squeeze a small amount of Tulip® Soft Fabric Paint™ Glacier White on foil. Tap dry sea sponge into paint. Lightly tap onto egg for a mottled look. Let dry.

Personalize shapes with Tulip 3D paint

Lightly pencil words – dream, peace, calm onto top of eggs.

Start flow of Tulip® Dimensional Fabric Paint on a paper towel, using an even pressure on bottle for a smooth line. Paint over pencil lines, cleaning tip often with paper towels. Add dots at ends of each letter. Let dry.
