A Pair with Flair

Transform a dainty pair of ballet flats into sweet on-trend look with an animal print bow that you can easily make yourself with ribbon, colorful beads and Aleene's® Fabric Fusion®.

 Print

Instructions:

1. Cut off the bows from the toes of shoes. Set aside.

2. Cut two 2 1/2” diameter circles of felt.

3. Peel off adhesive from the back of the felt circle.

4. Press end of ribbon at the edge of the circle and begin winding the ribbon around the edge, gathering it to form a ruffle.

5. Continue to gather and press on the ribbon until you reach the center of the circle. Cut off excess ribbon to finish rosette.

6. Squeeze Fabric Fusion in the center of the rosette. Place six beads into the glue.  Let dry.

7. Repeat steps 3-6 to create second rosette. Let dry.

8. Squeeze Fabric Fusion onto back of rosettes.

9. Place one rosette on the toe of shoe. Hold with clothespin until set.

10. Glue the bows that were earlier cut from the toes to the back of the shoes. Hold with clothespins until set.

11. Let dry completely.
