  1.      Draw desired name onto contact paper with pencil.
  2.      With the craft knife carefully cut out the name to create the stencil.
  3.      Cut around the stencil carefully so that it fits the top of the stocking.
  4.      Place the stencil onto the socking. Smooth out any air bubbles.
  5.      Using desired paint color cover the entire name on the stencil. Immediately peel off stencil to reveal name. Let dry.

These glow-in-the-dark sneakers are so easy to make and look cool both day and night! Just add bat-shaped stickers onto shoes and then spray with Tulip® ColorShot Natural Glow Fabric Spray Paint. During the day they’ll have a subtle green hue, but then just as nocturnal animals do, the bats will make their appearance when it gets dark! Charge them up in the sun during the day and then get a mysterious glow at night!

For best results, please read all instructions before beginning project. Refer to photo for color and design placement.

  1.      Stuff sneakers with paper towels or other filling material.
  2.      Use masking tape to mask off all areas of sneakers not to be painted.
  3.      Apply bat stickers randomly onto sneakers.
  4.      Working on covered work surface, spray ColorShot Glow Fabric Paint onto sneakers, applying several light coats and allowing each to dry before applying the next.
  5.      Allow to dry, and remove stickers and tape.

5 Glow-in-the-Dark Painted Pumpkin Ideas

If you're already thinking about decorating for Halloween, you are not alone! We're totally getting into a spooky state of mind around here, and one of our favorite ways to prep for Fright Night festivities is making glow-in-the-dark pumpkins. They're easy (and fun!) for all ages to create, they last longer than real pumpkins (and hey, are less messy too) and they're perfect for adding a ghoulish glow to Halloween parties, your front porch or where ever you place them! Here's a roundup of our favorite glow-in-the-dark painted pumpkin ideas for this year:

Cheshire Cat Glow T-shirt

Go mad with this glowing Cheshire cat T-shirt that’s grinning from ear to ear! Fill in the features with Tulip Glow Paint for the perfect way to light up Halloween night.

  1. Insert a large piece of cardstock inside shirt to create a stable crafting surface.
  2. Use chalk pencil to draw desired cat face onto shirt front.
  3. Use Green Glow Dimensional Paint to fill in design.
  4. Allow to dry and remove cardstock from shirt.

Painted Donut Pumpkins

Everyone knows that fall equals pumpkin season. It's officially time for pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie, and of course, pumpkin decorations! What's even better than pumpkins? Pumpkin donuts! This combination is a match made in heaven, and it also makes for adorable decor. Turn faux mini pumpkins into fall decor that looks good enough to eat with Tulip® Dimensional Paints, then run out and get some actual donuts to satisfy the sweet tooth you'll have after making this fun project!

Halloween Movie Quote Doormat

Put your favorite Halloween movie quote to good use with a doormat that greets trick or treaters with some spooktacular fun! We're vibing on this quote from the movie Hocus Pocus, but the best part about a DIY Halloween doormat is you can create anything you find bewitching. You can go with a ghoulish haunted house theme or one that's more kid friendly if you have lots of little ones in your neighborhood. All you need is a can of Tulip ColorShot Outdoor Upholstery Spray and a simple outdoor mat, and you're in business!
