CR 823 Celadon Crackle

Remember when “cracking” was a bad thing? Sidewalks, windows, cups … That’s a thing of the past, thanks to Duncan® Crackles Glazes™! These specially formulated glazes create cracks similar to crazing when fired, resulting in a distinctive aged, antique look. For extra depth, highlight the cracks created in the firing by antiquing the piece with ink or acrylic paint. Crackles Glazes are offered in low-fire and high-fire applications and are available in 4-oz. jars and pints.

Shipping and Returns

1. Apply 2 coats of Crackles Glaze to cone 04 bisque and dryfoot (omit glaze from bottom of piece). 2. For Low Fire, fire to shelf cone 06. 3. Crackle pattern will appear as the kiln cools and continue long after the piece has been fired and removed from the kiln.

1. To enhance the crackle pattern, put India ink or acrylic paint onto ware and wipe back with a soft cloth. 2. CR 823 Celadon Crackle is not overglaze compatible.

Shipping & Returns Policy

We warrant to the customer that the products will be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from the date of shipment. This warranty does not include damage to products resulting from accident, delivery or misuse. 

The customer may contact the Customer Loyalty Department at (800) 438-6226 to arrange a refund or replacement. Customer Loyalty will instruct the customer where and how to return the product.

Defective Product Claim:

Return remaining product and all goods that you are seeking compensation for along with your receipts to:

You will be compensated for shipping costs at the time your claim is verified.

Please include a brief note detailing the application process used in conjunction with the product and a description of how damages occurred. All reimbursements requested should be noted as this will be utilized in the processing of your claim.

Upon receipt of the above, your claim will be processed and should take about two weeks to complete. 

1.  Once the company receives the returned product, it will determine if the product is defective.

      If the product is defective the Company will:

  •       Replace and ship, at no charge, the new product to customer.

or

  •       Refund 100% of the purchase price, including shipping and handling charges to the customer.
