Thanks to lead-free, matte Duncan® Courtyard Art Glazes™, you can give your ware that rich, antiqued look in a variety of colors. What’s more, these glazes are truly unique, with no two firings giving exactly the same results. Courtyard Art Glazes work well with Concepts Underglazes for Majolica and Bisque. Colors are available in 4-oz. jars with assorted colors offered in pints.

How to Use
Tips
Shipping and Returns
  1. For both Low Fire and High Fire Applications, apply 2-5 coats to cone 04 bisque. Let dry between coats.

  2. For Low Fire, stilt and fire to cone 06. for High Fire, fire to cone 5-6.

1. For High Fire, because high fire clays vary, we recommend firing a test piece. 2. Courtyard Art Glazes can be applied with a sponge, spritz bottle or brush. 3. When spritzing on Courtyard Art Glazes™, use the spray or mist setting for base coat coverage. For full coverage, spritz on 3-4 coats depending on the color of glaze; lighter colors require more coats. 4. To create detail over Spritzing, mix 1/2 Concepts color and 1/2 water. Use stream setting on spritz bottle for thin lines of color, spots or drip effects.

Shipping & Returns Policy

We warrant to the customer that the products will be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from the date of shipment. This warranty does not include damage to products resulting from accident, delivery or misuse. 

The customer may contact the Customer Loyalty Department at (800) 438-6226 to arrange a refund or replacement. Customer Loyalty will instruct the customer where and how to return the product.

You will be compensated for shipping costs at the time your claim is verified.

Please include a brief note detailing the application process used in conjunction with the product and a description of how damages occurred. All reimbursements requested should be noted as this will be utilized in the processing of your claim.

Upon receipt of the above, your claim will be processed and should take about two weeks to complete. 

1.  Once the company receives the returned product, it will determine if the product is defective.

      If the product is defective the Company will:

  •       Replace and ship, at no charge, the new product to customer.

or

  •       Refund 100% of the purchase price, including shipping and handling charges to the customer.
