Picture of DIY Geometric ColorShot Skirt

If spring cleaning has you feeling like you have nothing left to wear, don't fret! You don't have to spend a fortune on a whole new wardrobe, you just need some freezer paper and some fun fabric spray paint colors from Tulip® ColorShot Instant Fabric Color! Even if math was never your favorite subject in school, we guarantee you'll love sporting this geometric print any day of the week! Get the tutorial below.

What you need:

- Tulip® ColorShot Instant Fabric Color - Purple, White
- White skirt
- Freezer paper
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Craft knife
- Iron

First create a triangle pattern on a large piece of freezer paper that will fit across the front of your skirt; the size of the triangles and the spaces in between will vary based on your skirt. Once you are happy with your pattern, cut out the triangles using a craft knife and iron waxy side down onto the skirt to create a temporary hold. Cover any exposed areas with more freezer paper.

Spray several light coats of Purple ColorShot over the bottom two thirds of stencil openings, letting dry in between coats.

When you are happy with your purple coverage, spray enough white ColorShot across the top section of the stencil to blend into the purple and create a lavender ombre effect towards the top of your design. Let dry and remove your stencil.

Once dry, remove freezer paper stencil from skirt.

Look at those lovely ombré effects!

Have fun showing off your new spring look!
