DIY STRIPED NAPKINS

 Print

It's the time of the year to show your TRUE colors! Parties, get togethers and special occasions require the best napkins and boy do I have some cute ones for you today. They are really easy to make and totally affordable! You literally can make them in about 30 minutes. These are great to give to someone as a gift, fyi!
Let's get started...

You will need:
*Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint (White)
*Tulip Brushes
*Tulip Paint Roller
*Painters Tape
*Rainbow Napkins (You can get these from any home store)

I wanted to add some bold stripes to these plain, boring napkins. I am totally in love with the supplies I used in today's post, especially the Tulip Paint Roller!

I especially love the dimensional paint I used. The tip makes it easy to squirt onto any surface or you can draw with it.

Step ONE: Unfold your napkin.

Step TWO: Place pieces of tape horizontally across your napkin. I just eyeballed my stripes.
Step THREE: Squirt a decent amount of dimensional paint onto a flat surface, like a sheet of card stock or anything firm.
How pretty is this!

Step FOUR: Get your paint roller and roll it over your paint. It will take a few strokes to get it all soaked in to the roller!
Step FIVE: Roll your roller onto your fabric.
Step SIX: Once you let it dry for about 30 minutes gently peel off the tape.
I am in love with the outcome! So bright and beautiful!
