Ignite your creative passion and join members from across America for a Creative Home Arts Club 30-hour Craft Extravaganza this fall. Registration for this event is now open!
The Creative Home Arts Club joined with sponsors Xyron, Fire Mountain Gems & Beads, Photo Pearls, Design Master, Elmer’s, The Original Scrap Box, X-ACTO, Boye, Simplicity Creative Group, ilovetocreate.com and The Crochet Dude to offer classes in Minneapolis, MN, Philadelphia, PA and Phoenix, AZ. The daily hands-on classes will focus on your favorite techniques including (but not limited to):
• Papercraft/Scrapbooking
• Beading/Jewelry
• Sewing/Quilting
• Needlecraft
• Home Décor
• General Crafts
Drew Emborsky - “The Crochet Dude” and Kathy Cano-Murillo - “The Crafty Chica” & national spokesperson for iLoveToCreate - will make special appearances and teach classes at all three events. Learn from the experts!
Classes are broken into two-hour long sessions for each technique, and students will receive goodies from our sponsors as well as the Club during the event. In between classes, take a few minutes to enjoy snacks, chat with other members, or just take a little break.
To round out the first day, come enjoy wine and cheese with HomeArts editor Julie Stephani on Friday evening as we raise money for St Jude’s - one of the nation’s leaders in cancer research and treatment. Unfortunately this disease has probably touched us all personally or through loved ones. Julie lost her son, Jeffrey, in 2007 and is dedicated to raising funds for research to find a cure for cancer. Find inspiration from her insights and positive approach to life’s challenges.
Then, just in case your projects are not finished by the time class ends, there will be an “insomnia room” open from 11pm-8am. Bring any craft finished or just enjoy meeting and chatting with fellow crafters. The night is yours!
Start Saturday with a continental breakfast and morning Kick-Off with The Crochet Dude to get the creative juices flowing. Enjoy morning classes and then join the Crafty Chica, who will speak during lunch before you’re off to classes to flex their creative muscles again. After classes and dinner, come join your fellow crafters and the HomeArts crew for a Martini & Chocolate Party farewell at 10pm.
The Extravaganzas will take place September 24th & 25th in Minneapolis, October 1st & 2nd in Philadelphia, and October 8th & 9th in Phoenix. Register by August 1st for priority choice on available classes as well as the option of incremental billing. Class size is limited, so do not delay!
