Feast Time for Fido Pet Bowls

Give Fido his very own custom food and water dishes! These extra-special creative bowls will serve up meal after meal and look good at the same time!

  1. Wipe bowls with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.

LARGE PET BOWL:

  1. Lightly draw a circle on bottom of bowl using the 4” circle template as guide. Tape off larger sections of bowl from outer area of bowl to inner circle. Tape off smaller sections leaving a couple larger areas. Make sure the tape is well adhered.
  2. Make a few circles from shelf paper using ½”-¾” hole punch. Remove paper backing on circles and adhere circles randomly on the larger taped off sections.
  3. Brush three coats of desired colors in each of the taped off sections. Let dry thoroughly.
  4. Remove circles and brush off any chips of paint around the edges. Remove remainder of tape.
  5. Using pencil, lightly freehand “water” in bottom of bowl.
  6. Write over penciled letters with French Dimensions Black Licorice. HINT: Test flow of paint on paper towel prior to applying to bowl.
  7. Make French Dimension dots around outer circle using Neon Coral, Neon Blue or Black Licorice French Dimensions.
  8. Embellish with dots and squiggles as desired with French Dimensions. Let dry thoroughly.
  9. If bottom of rim is painted, stilt bowl on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06. If bottom is unpainted, you may place bowl directly on shelf and fire.
  10. Brush two coats Pure Brilliance to inside bisque circle, dots and bottom of bowl. Let dry. Add a thin coat to painted areas. Let dry.
  11. Stilt bowl on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
