Instructions:

  1. Lay striped fabric on cutting table.
  2. Measure around top of tote, starting at one end and wrapping measuring tape around tote back to starting point, then add an extra 4” to the length. Use this measurement to cut out a length of striped fabric, 6½” wide.
  3. Gather fabric and sew in place, creating ruffled strip.
  4. Use Fabric Fusion to glue fabric strip around top of tote as shown.
  5. Measure and cut a length of black trim to fit around top of tote. Glue in place in center of ruffled strip. Pin in place and let dry.
  6. To create tassel, use scrap material from striped fabric to cover foam ball, leaving about 5” of fabric extending down from ball.
  7. Use trim to secure fabric in place directly underneath ball.
  8. Cut fabric under ball into strips and fray edges.
  9. Sew tassel to tote.
  10. Use gray chalk pencil to create desired initial onto the canvas fabric. Cut out.
  11. Apply a thin line of Fabric Fusion along the back edges of initial then press firmly onto tote.
  12. Use Fashion Art Tweezers to place crystals onto initial. Set crystals in place with Cordless Heat-Setting Tool, following instructions on package.
