Picture of Quick Chevron Stencil Skirt

Does wintertime weather have you feeling the blues? Cheer up friends, there's fast DIY fashion up ahead! Turn those blues into a chic chevron skirt in a flash with a stencil and Tulip® ColorShot Instant Fabric Color.

What you need:

- Chevron stencil
- Aleene's® Repositionable Tacky Spray
- Freezer paper or paper towels
- Masking tape

To make your quick and easy chevron skirt, spray the backside of your stencil with Repositionable Tacky Spray then place adhesive side down on your skirt; press around all edges to create a temporary seal. Cover all exposed areas with paper towels or freezer paper and tape down, then apply one light coat of ColorShot over the stencil openings. Let dry for several minutes, then add another light coat. Tip: Several light coats are better than one heavy coat to help prevent color from bleeding under stencil. Once you are happy with the paint coverage, let dry then remove the stencil.

If this fun chevron skirt doesn't turn your frown upside down, we don't know what will!
