Suzie Shinseki

Suzie works as a Senior Designer at iLoveToCreate®. She has been involved with art since childhood, and her passion has continued throughout her life. She honed her natural talents by attending the Academy of Arts in San Francisco on scholarship, art classes at San Jose City College. She works with various media and substrates. You can find her masterpieces on painted signs, murals, people and animal portraiture, mold design, sculptures, ceramic projects and fabric paint designs. Her commercial endeavors include children’s coloring books, illustrative designs for bags, brochures and cards. Robbie the Recycle Robot

There’s nothing artificial about the intelligence of doing something creative with our recyclables! Create a robot pal out of an old plastic water bottle and some Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue®, then give it life and personality with Scribbles® 3D Paint Pens.

Instructions:

1. Wrap foil around water bottle, sealing seam with Aleene’s Tacky Glue. Smooth foil to shape to bottle.

2. Have an adult pierce holes for arms, ears and antenna.

3. Twist pipe cleaners as desired and push ends through holes in bottle.

4. Use Tacky Glue to adhere colored rhinestones or sequins and wiggle eyes onto robot.

5. Use Scribbles® 3D Paint Pens to draw mouth and box around belly embellishments. Add dots around box. Let dry completely.

  • Pipe cleaners
  • Sequin or Rhinestone (a permanent marker easily transforms a clear rhinestone into a colored gem.)
  • Empty water bottle
  • Wiggle eyes
  • Piercing tool or awl (to pierce holes in bottle)
  • Aluminum foil
