Suzie works as a Senior Designer at iLoveToCreate®. She has been involved with art since childhood, and her passion has continued throughout her life. She honed her natural talents by attending the Academy of Arts in San Francisco on scholarship, art classes at San Jose City College. She works with various media and substrates. You can find her masterpieces on painted signs, murals, people and animal portraiture, mold design, sculptures, ceramic projects and fabric paint designs. Her commercial endeavors include children’s coloring books, illustrative designs for bags, brochures and cards. Her exceptional illustration skills have brought her many jobs as a fashion illustrator for designers in Hong Kong and Hawaii.

Savvy Stackable Serveware

 

These space-saving stackable plates, mugs and bowls add style and fun to your kitchen while keeping it organized! The simple designs offer function and are the perfect canvas for a mix of fun designs and solid coverage.

 Print

Instructions:

1. Wipe ware with damp sponge to remove any bisque dust.

2. Transfer patterns to mugs and bowls using pencil and clay carbon paper.

PLATE: 
3. Brush three coats Bright Honeysuckle to front and back of plate.

4. Brush light coat of Pure Brilliance to front and back of plate. Let dry.

5. Stilt in kiln and fire to cone 06.

BOWL: 
6. Brush three coats Light Kiwi to bottom section of bowl and base. Let dry.

7. Pour some Light Kiwi into the squeeze bottle with tip. Test fluidity of squeeze bottle applicator on paper towel.

8. Using squeeze bottle with Light Kiwi paint, trace over leaf pattern lines. Let dry thoroughly.

9. Brush one good coat Pure Brilliance to inside and outer bowl and a thin coat to the painted lower half and base. Let dry. Brush a second coat to the inside and sides with the leaves. Let dry.

10. Stilt in kiln and fire to cone 06.

MUG: 
12. Brush three coats Bright Ginger to handle and bottom area of mug. Let dry.

11. Fill a new or cleaned squeeze bottle with tip with Bright Ginger. Test fluidity of squeeze bottle applicator on paper towel.

13. Using squeeze bottle with Bright Ginger, trace over flower pattern lines. Let dry thoroughly.

14. Brush two coats Pure Brilliance to inside and outside of cup.

15. Brush a lighter coat of Pure Brilliance on the handle and painted base.

16. Stilt in kiln and fire to cone 06.
