Shimmer Tree

If Evergreens aren’t your style, or you simply want a tree in every room, you don’t have to spend a fortune to get something fabulous! Create this shimmer tree with papers, poster boards, Aleene's® adhesives and Tulip® Fashion Glitter®.

Instructions:

1.Tape two sheets of poster paper together along the two wider sides. Roll the paper into a giant cone. Tape in place. Cut across bottom of cone to flatten so it will stand up straight.
2. Trace around dinner plate on newspaper and shipping paper to create desired number of circles. Cut out circles.
3. Roll each circle into a cone and glue edges together. Let dry.
4. Glue cones to tree in rows, overlapping until entire tree is covered.
5. Spray bottom half of cones with adhesive. While wet, sprinkle with glitter.
6. Let tree dry completely.
7. Place desired ornament on top of tree. (Option: Wire twigs together to form star.)
