So Charmed Embellished iPhone Cases

“Decoden” is a Japanese craft craze that involves decorating your cell phone cover with silicone and all kinds of tiny objects. We discovered that our Puffy Paint is just as fun and fluffy to use as the base. It not only acts as an adhesive, but it comes in a rainbow of colors and dries shiny and … puffy!

Instructions:

1. Squeeze some Puffy Paint on the back of cell phone case and spread around with the chopstick or popsicle stick, making sure the paint is thick enough to embed the items, but not so thick to hide them.

2. Choose your focal point item and press it in desired area. Add the other secondary items, pressing in place.

3. Fill in with smaller objects and crystals.

4. Let dry overnight.

VARIATION: Use clear bathroom silicone from the hardware store. Squeeze into the cup and add Tulip Glitter, then stir until mixed. The silicone will be white, but dries clear. Slather a thick layer onto cell phone case and embed your small objects as directed above.

Miscellaneous:

  • Assorted small embellishment items
  • Cell phone case
  • Chopstick or popsicle stick
  • Small cup
