Spring Leaves ColorShot Scarf
Spring is in the air, and we're celebrating the arrival of fresh blooms with some fresh fashion! This lovely scarf will look lively all season long with cascading teal vines that pop against a white backdrop. Create your own with a DIY freezer paper stencil and Tulip® ColorShot® Instant Fabric Color!
What you need:
- Tulip® ColorShot® Instant Fabric Color - Teal
- White scarf
- Freezer paper
- Craft knife
- Plastic tablecloth
- Paper towels
Create a winding vine pattern on a long piece of freezer paper, then cut out with a craft knife to create a stencil. Once you've ironed it in place on the scarf, cover any exposed areas with paper towels or more freezer paper to protect from potential overspray.
Spray several light coats of ColorShot over the stencil openings instead of one heavy coat to prevent over saturation and potential color bleed under the stencil openings. Make sure to let the color dry in between coats! Once you are happy with the color coverage, let the scarf dry then remove the stencil.
How can you not get wrapped up in all of this cuteness?!
