Iron fabric then use scissors to cut sections large enough for leaf pattern, cutting two for each.
Cover work surface with newspaper. Place two sections right side down on surface then following label instructions, lightly spray both pieces with Crystal Clear Tacky Spray.
Place one end of chenille stem in center of one fabric section about 3” from edge. Carefully lift other fabric section, then press wrong side down on top of chenille stem and other fabric section, lining up all edges.
Place leaf pattern on top of fabric pieces, lining up stem in appropriate spot, then cut out.
Repeat steps for desired number of leaves.
Use computer to type up desired Christmas saying in favorite fonts and colors and print out, making sure font is sized to fit bag. Use decorative edge scissors to cut around saying as shown.
Place on cardboard then use pushpin to punch holes along edge. Refer to photo.
Place saying print right side down on newspaper then lightly spray with Tacky Spray. Place on desired fabric, pressing to secure. Use decorative scissors to cut around fabric, leaving a slight border. Repeat step with next color of fabric. Trim sides, spray, then press in place on lower front of bag.
Use clothespin to hold bag closed then wrap leaf stem around to secure.
Lay pom-pom on newspaper and lightly spray with Tacky Spray, holding with a skewer if needed, then press in place at end of leaf.
