Print out the pattern from this post (at the very bottom of the page) or create your own with your favorite type of wine (if it's not merlot), then trace onto a sheet of freezer paper. Cut out the design with a craft knife and iron waxy side down onto your shirt to create a temporary bond to the fabric. Cover any exposed areas of your shirt with paper towels to protect from overspray, and spray one light coat over the stencil openings. Let dry and spray another light coat, repeating process until you are happy with the color coverage.
Tip: Several light coats are better than one heavy coat in order to help prevent color from bleeding underneath the stencil openings.
Once dry, remove your freezer paper stencil and celebrate your creative savvy with a glass of wine!
