Top-Load Washing Machine Instructions
1. Prewash fabric before dyeing.
2. Shake bottle well. Use 1 bottle of dye per 2 lbs. of dry fabric, use 2 bottles for dark or bright colors.
3. Fill washer with hot water.
4. Add dye and 1 cup of salt to water; let agitate. Dampen fabric then add to water; do not overload machine. Extend wash cycle to 30 minutes.
5. When cycle is complete, run cold rinse cycle and wash fabric again.
6. Machine dry fabric or lay flat to dry.
7. Immediately clean washer with hot water and 1 cup of bleach, running a full cycle.

Front-Load Washing Machine Instructions
1. Use 1 bottle of dye per 2 pounds (.91 kg) of dry fabric. Use 2 bottles for dark or bright colors. Color results will vary depending on load size and corresponding water levels. 
2. Prewash fabric. Re-wet in hot water, smooth wrinkles and place in machine.
3. 3. Use a 30-minute wash cycle set to highest possible water temperature (machine will auto-weigh fabric for appropriate water level).
4. Shake bottle well; mix with 3 cups (710 mL) very hot water; stir well. Pour dye solution into detergent dispenser; immediately flush dispenser with 4 cups (946 mL) very hot water.
5. Dissolve 1 cup salt in 4 cups (946 mL) very hot water. Pour salt solution into detergent dispenser ten minutes into wash cycle; immediately flush dispenser with 4 cups (946 mL) very hot water.
6. After wash cycle, re-wash on warm cycle with mild detergent.
7. Machine or air dry.
8. Immediately clean washer with normal wash cycle set to highest possible water temperature, detergent, and 2 cups (473 mL) liquid bleach.  Include 3-4 old towels to absorb excess dye and weight machine for effective water level.

Instructions pour laveuse à chargement frontal
1. Utiliser 1 flacon de teinture pour 0,91 kg de tissu sec. Utiliser 2 flacons pour les couleurs sombres ou vives.  La couleur obtenue dépend du poids de la charge et des niveaux d’eau correspondants.
2. Prélaver le tissu. Mouiller à nouveau dans de l’eau chaude, lisser les plis et placer dans la machine.
3. Utiliser un cycle de lavage de 30 minutes réglé à la plus haute température possible (la machine pèsera automatiquement le tissu pour régler le niveau d’eau).
4. Bien secouer le flacon; mélanger avec 710 ml (3 tasses) d’eau très chaude; mélanger vigoureusement. Verser la teinture dans le compartiment à lessive; verser immédiatement 946 ml (4 tasses) d’eau très chaude dans le compartiment.
5. Dissoudre 236 ml (1 tasse) de sel dans 946 ml d’eau très chaude. Verser la solution salée dans le compartiment à lessive 10 minutes après le début du cycle; verser immédiatement 946 ml (4 tasses) d’eau très chaude dans lecompartiment.
6. Après le cycle de lavage, laver à nouveau sur un cycle tiède avec une lessive douce.
7. Sécher à la machine ou à l’air.
8. Nettoyer immédiatement la laveuse sur un cycle normal à la plus haute température possible, avec de la lessive et 473 ml (2 tasses) d’eau de javel liquide. Ajouter 3 ou 4 vieilles serviettes pour absorber l’excès de teinture et régler le poids pour obtenir un niveau d’eau efficace.

Sink or Stovetop instructions
1. Add 1/2 bottle of dye to 3 gallons of hot water per each pound of dry fabric.
2. Fill sink or large pot with hottest water safe for fabric.
3. Add dye and 1 cup of salt to water and stir for approximately 2 minutes.
4. Add wet fabric to water and stir constantly for 30 to 60 minutes then rinse fabric in cool water until runoff is clear.
5. Wash fabric in warm water with detergent.
6. Clean sink/pot with bleach.

If you're uncertain about the fabric or dye color, test first on a fabric swatch.

These dyes work great on natural fibers such as 100% cotton, wool, silk and rayon.

WARNING: May produce allergic reaction from skin contact. May be a skin and eye irritant. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid skin and eye contact. Wear protective gloves when using dyes.

Shipping & Returns Policy

We warrant to the customer that the products will be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from the date of shipment. This warranty does not include damage to products resulting from accident, delivery or misuse. 

The customer may contact the Customer Loyalty Department at (800) 438-6226 to arrange a refund or replacement. Customer Loyalty will instruct the customer where and how to return the product.

Please include a brief note detailing the application process used in conjunction with the product and a description of how damages occurred. All reimbursements requested should be noted as this will be utilized in the processing of your claim.

Upon receipt of the above, your claim will be processed and should take about two weeks to complete. 

1.  Once the company receives the returned product, it will determine if the product is defective.

      If the product is defective the Company will:

  •       Replace and ship, at no charge, the new product to customer.

or

  •       Refund 100% of the purchase price, including shipping and handling charges to the customer.
