DIY Christmas Light Towels
The one area of my home that always seems to lack Christmas decorations is the kitchen, so these simple-to-make Christmas light towels were the perfect way to add a little cheer. DIY Puffy Paint Non-Slip Socks
If you’re a parent you know how valuable non-slip socks are for the little ones. Especially if you have hardwood in your home; those little gummy dots on the bottom are pretty much life savers. Unfortunately, not all socks are made like that, but that’s okay because you can make them yourself! Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint makes it easy to create one-of-a-kind socks that’ll keep you from slipping up.
DIY 80's Inspired Gift Wrap
This time of year, it seems to feel like gift wrap costs as much as the gift. Rather than spending too much money on pretty gift wrap from the store, make your own! Holly Wade of Club Crafted, uses Tulip Dimensional Paint to transform plain gift bags into colorful gift wrap with fun 80s-inspired prints that will take you back to the days of Saved by the Bell with colorful, abstract patterns. Make them for Christmastime and reuse them all year!
DIY Glitter Dough Ornament for Christmas
Is there anything quite so memorable as making your own dough ornaments during Christmas? I don't believe so! This DIY Glitter Dough Ornament is really easy to make for your own enjoyment or as an activity with kids. Just mix one part Aleene's Tacky Glue with two parts baking soda, roll out on a hard surface, and create shapes with cookie cutters. DIY Glass Gem Apple Mason Jar
It's fall and that means apple season! With their bright red freshness taking over my fruit bowl and their aroma coming out of my wax burners, it seems only right to bring this pretty little fruit front and center as gem covered mason jar.
If you've covered a mason jar in gems before you might have found yourself frustrated with lackluster results, watching your stones drip off in hot weather or pop free when it gets cold at night. Today we're going to use Glass & Bead Adhesive from Aleene's for the best results I've found for making gem covered mason jars with gems that actually stay put. The craft time for this project is longer than with other adhesives but the end results with beautiful jars covered in gems that don't disappoint and fall of randomly makes it worth the little extra bit of time, in my opinion!
