Christmas Festival Gift Wrap

It’s not always what’s inside the package, but the package itself! Create a beautiful presentation for your holiday gift giving by taking ordinary gift wrap and giving it a fold and tuck here and there for a designer look that may have them not even wanting to unwrap it!

  1. Wrap gift with single sheet of gift wrap.

  2. Wind baker’s twine around all sides and tie in the center. Set aside.

  3. Cut two 3” x 12” strips of gift wrap for pinwheel. Glue ends together to form 3” x 24” strip.

  4. Fan-fold the strip in ½” folds.

  5. Bring one end of folded strip around to the other end and glue together. Use paper clips to hold while drying.

  6. Cut a 1” circle of contrasting paper and glue to center of pinwheel. Let dry.

  7. Punch multiple holes in contrasting papers to create confetti.

  8. Apply glue generously to corners of box and sprinkle confetti into glue to cover.

  9. Glue dry pinwheel to center of box. Let dry.
