DIY Santa Ugly Sweater Hoodie

Santa Claus is coming to town! Heading to an ugly sweater party? Why not show up as everyone’s favorite man in red! Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint makes this super easy to create. You’ll look so good; you might have everyone giving you their wish lists.

What you need:

-Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paint (Black, Gold, Silver)

-Aleene’s Fabric Fusion

-Red hoodie

-White pompoms

-Jingle bells

First, taking the pompoms, begin creating the beard. The hood will have to be up when wearing this, so start gluing the pompoms on the lower part of the hood that lines up with the jaw.

Continue gluing the pompoms all the way down until the chest of the hoodie. You can glue pompoms on top of each other to create a fuller beard.

Take one pom and glue it to the tip of the hood.

Now take the jingle bells and put them on the draw strings of the hoodie. Pull the draw strings through the small loop on top of the bell.

What’s Santa without a belt? Not Santa that’s for sure! Take the gold fabric paint and start the belt buckle. Create a square on the hoodie pocket, then a smaller square inside that one. Fill in the space with diagonal lines.

Next, take the black fabric paint and start creating the belt strap. Draw two lines about 3 inches apart, then fill in the diagonal lines.

Take the silver fabric paint and fill the space in between the black lines. Be sure to go back to the belt buckle and fill in that center space with black and silver as well.

Let the hoodie dry for 24 hours.

Now you’re ready to go! Hop on your sleigh and get ready to WOW everyone at the party. You might just find yourself a Mrs.Claus.
