Mad About Metallics Vase

No matter where you put them, stripes add an element of serious style. Give yours an industrial edge with grayish hues and pops of copper.

Instructions:

FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES ONLY

1. Wipe ware with a damp sponge to remove bisque dust.

2. Use a ruler and pencil to lightly mark ¼” wide sections along the top of the vase. Run strips of ¼” masking tape down the sides of vase, leaving every other section without tape.

3. Load the No. 6 Round with Silver and paint in open sections. Let dry and add a second coat if necessary. Let dry and peel off tape strips.

4. Carefully run masking tape over the Silver lines along the edges before painting in Pewter stripes in the remaining sections, or freehand paint if desired. Let dry.

5. Using tip of brush handle, dip in Copper and create evenly spaced dots running vertically down the Silver stripes. Let dry.

Tip: If you would like to make your vase water safe, first roll Pure Brilliance inside the vase and fire to cone 06.
