Tropical Punch ColorShot Leaf Skirt

Picture of Tropical Punch ColorShot Leaf Skirt

Pack your wardrobe with a colorful punch this summer using bright neon shades of Tulip® ColorShot® Instant Fabric Color! Give a simple white skirt some tropical flavor with a banana leaf design that pops in neon green. So easy to make with a sheet of freezer paper and ColorShot!

What you need:

- Tulip® ColorShot® Instant Fabric Color - Neon Green
- Freezer paper
- Pencil
- Craft knife
- Paper towels
- Banana leaf design

If you're good at sketching, draw your own banana leaf designs on a piece of freezer paper large enough to fit onto your skirt. Or you can find a design online and enlarge it, then trace onto your freezer paper. Cut out with a craft knife to create a stencil and iron it waxy side down onto your skirt to create a temporary bond.

Cover any exposed areas of your skirt with paper towels, then spray one light coat of neon green over the stencil openings. Let dry and spray another coat. Repeat process until you are happy with your color coverage. Tip: It's better to spray several light coats instead of one heavy coat in order to help prevent color from bleeding underneath the stencil openings.

Once dry, remove your stencil and get ready to show off your hot new look!

Can't you just see yourself sporting this vibrant skirt down the streets of Miami?! Or just down the street? Who cares where you are when you look this amazing!
